Signature Eco Cotton Sheets

25 years ago we set out on a mission to create premium quality sheets that were better for the environment and widely affordable.

When we started Ecodownunder, it was not possible to buy high quality, ecofriendly and affordable bed sheets in Australia. The market was being flooded with cheap products from China.  These were often made from polyester and other synthetics, packed in plastic, coloured with toxic Azo dyes and coated in cancer causing resins like formaldehyde. These sheets were not only unpleasant to sleep in but like all synthetic textiles manufactured from fossil fuels, they were contributing to climate change.

Our minimum standard was no synthetics, no harsh chemicals and no plastic packaging.

Working directly with our partners in India, over 3 years of trials and tests, we created our Signature Eco Sheets.  Our customers raved about them and we were continually asked why they were so comfortable!  It was thanks to the things we eliminated, the synthetics and the harsh chemicals, that made them feel so luxuriously soft and smooth to sleep in.

Over 25 years later, these sheets remain our signature bestselling sheets.
