Australian made King Single All Seasons Duck Down Quilt

50% Duck Down and 50% Duck Feather, for a lighter quilt to use during most seasons.

  • Our quilts are filled with a mixture of quality Australian duck feather and down. The quilts are cassette style with a box walled construction of individually filled squares, which maintain an even distribution of warmth.

Caring for your Duck Down Quilt

  • AIR WELL BEFORE USE as there may be a residual feather smell that will dissipate with airing.   
    Air in a breeze if possible, this may take a day to do.   If it is humid, it may take a little longer.

  • We recommend that you use a Quilt Cover on your Duck Down Quilt to help protect the quilt and keep it clean.
  • Spot clean your quilt using a mild detergent with cold water.
  • Air regularly on nice sunny/breezy days to revitalise the duck down.
  • Hand-wash using a delicate, mild detergent in cold or warm water.
  • Line dry and be patient as the down may take a little longer to dry.  You can use a dryer on a very low heat setting to finish off your duck down quilt.  You can toss in a dryer or tennis ball as this can help break up any feather clumps as it dries.
  • Every few years have your Duck Down Quilt professionally cleaned by a reputable Organic or Eco Friendly Dry Cleaner who works with natural fibres and uses environmentally friendly cleaning agents.
