Furthermore, pure linen tea towels just keep on getting softer and become more absorbent the more you wash them. Thanks to the strength of the linen fibres they last for years whilst improving with age!

When you’re making home made kombucha, a linen tea towel is the perfect cloth to cover the fermenting brew. It allows a flow of oxygen to the brewing kombucha tea which it needs for the fermenting process, and the linen weave is sufficiently tight to keep the pesky fruit flies and other bugs out. We recommend securing the tea towel with natural string instead of rubber bands as we love to avoid using synthetics wherever possible
